Su WordPress.org leggo che è stata superata da pochi giorni la deadline per il Google Summer of Code, il concorso che ogni anni Google ripropone. Un concorso aperto a studenti e a progetti open source, anche se io, purtroppo non sono ancora abbastanza studente.

Leggendo l’articolo mi è tornato in mente l’anno scorso, quando seguivo fortemente BuddyPress e Andy, lead developer della piattaforma mi disse che lui era mentor (seguiva chi si candidava al GSoC) mi chiese di partecipare, dicendomi che lui mi avrebbe seguito. Io, felicissimo.

Mi ha seguito sì, purtroppo però fino alla nota del regolamento che sottolineava che per studente si intendono i ragazzi con più di 18 anni e mi disse “Nicola, two years more.”. Dai, ancora uno.

I thought this morning about the name of the BuddyPress Theme I’m working on. NicolaDEV sounds good. Here some preview, given that the theme is almost complete. This theme is for the blog and for the members side. Don’t look at the logo, it’s ever the sponsor.

Critics and suggestions are welcome!

I don’t know what will be the name of it. Anyway that’s the screenshot ( don’t look at the logo, it’s the sponsor who payed for this theme ).

I’m not sure how i’ll release this theme, anyway suggestions and critics are accepted, ( it’s only the header )
